On July 15,2007, approximately 70 people gathered at the Bell Spur Primitive Baptist Church in Meadows of Dan VA to honor Zachariah Stanley, the first Stanley to settle in the Blue Ridge Mountains of VA in 1787
October 6, 2007 Annual Iowa Stanley Family reunion held at Lynneville, IA. We visited the Wagaman Mill/Museum, the Lynnville Friends Cemetery and the home of Roberta Stanley Hoopes.
