CEDAR RAPIDS LODGING INFORMATION
LODGING Each person is responsible for making his/her own reservation except for
the
college dormitory (see registration form). Campgrounds and motels are also listed
on the
NFSA web site www.stanleyfamily.org under the Reunions link.
Dormitory: Coe College, Voorhees Hall, across from Gage Memorial Union where
we will
hold our meetings. There are two single beds to a room. Bathrooms, shared
by persons
of the same sex, will be down the hall or up or down one flight. There are
elevators. The cost is $19 a person with linens provided. Breakfast will be available
upon request in Gage Memorial Union when you check in. Use the reunion registration
form to make room reservations.
Motels: This group of chain motels and a number of fast food and other restaurants are
at exit 17 off Interstate 380, just south of Cedar Rapids. They are the closest ones to
Coe
College except for one upscale hotel downtown. You need to make your own
reservation. A couple of owners said they would give a discount if 6 or more reserved
at the same time. Some owners said if you state that you are with the National Stanley
Family Association
they will try to place other persons in N.S.F.A. near your room.
